The main goal is to minimize data collection from our habits etc. of certain companies. To provide installations, tutorials, guide for inexperienced people.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
At our main domain - www.pwoss.org:
We don't use any cookie at our main domain.
We don't use any cookie at searx.pwoss.org from you but only if you're using the default options. If you change the "preferences - https://searx.pwoss.org/preferences" we have to save cookies on your PC. Otherwise, you have to change the option every time. What we saving is listed at " https://searx.pwoss.org/preferences - cookie" (after saving the new settings). So, even if you change some options we don't track you or save any data from you. The list below is showing what kind of cookies are necessary for your new settings. We could change the default but every person is different so we can't make it right for everyone.

The services (pwoss.org, git.pwoss.org, wiki.pwoss.org, element.pwoss.org, searx.pwoss.org and dnscrypt) are hosted at Linode. Our email server as well.
Our domain is from namecheap.com.
How long we retain your data
We don't collect your data from pwoss.org, git.pwoss.org, wiki.pwoss.org, element.pwoss.org and searx.pwoss.org.
We need to collect your data if you sign up for element.pwoss.org.
But this is possible without email and/or phone number.
We don't collect data from git.pwoss.org if you're using the service without sign up.
We need to collect your data if you sign up for git.pwoss.org.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
How we protect your data
Our devices, which we're sending, writing to you with your personal details (email traffic, text, questions etc.) are encrypted. That means, if someone steal or if we loose our devices it'll be hard for everyone to get access to our data/your data. We're using Linux at our Desktop devices which are encrypted with LUKS. And we're using Andorid Phones which are encrypted as well and free of Google with Open Source Software. If we're using Closed Software they're blocked with a firewall or hasn't any internet aspiration.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our site. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
